In 2024/25, GP practices across NEL prescribed £194k worth of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).

GP practices can no longer prescribe NRT to patients

In Havering our Local stop smoking services now provide NRT directly to patients, alongside tailored advice and support.  The community pharmacy stop smoking service has also recently introduced Varenicline as part of the support offer.  Below is a list of the pharmacies that deliver the service:
